Just under the wire!
On Monday I was still too sore to go back to work, so I spent another day on the couch with an ice pack on my belly. It was all very exciting. This is one of our plants (Dr. Huxtable? Maybe?) with one of my grandma’s clip-on earrings. I have several that are all the same that might get turned into button covers, but this one was alone in the world. I thought it could brighten up the plant.
One of the skeins of yarn I’m using to make A SUPER SECRET PROJECT. KnitPicks Swish Worsted in Marine Heather. This blue is awesome.
Fall is a great season for color. This is the sidewalk on the way into work.
Headed home on a rainy evening. (There’s not really anything else to say besides that)
I drove to Waterman on Friday, in the rain, and passed the wind farm (under construction). This was one of two shots I got by just pointing the camera out my passenger side window. Yes, I took these while driving. In my defense I didn’t actually look at the camera or do any sort of composition in order to get it. But damn, it looks nice and creepy/lonely/sad, eh?
More of the SUPER SECRET PROJECT. Ignore it.
This is part of my pajamas. My awesome sister-in-law and brother-in-law gave me these pajamas for Christmas one year. The pattern is nesting dolls dressed as hippies. They are supercomfy and I love them.

because i often see the world through the eyes of an 11-year-old boy, i misread your post and thought you said that you were going to use the clip-on earring as “butt covers.”
“where on the butt would you place such a beautiful accessory,” i wondered…
Nesting dolls dressed as hippies…darn I wish I could draw!
